Description:

Job Summary / Job Purpose:

        To maintain and grow the size and trade business contribution from the assigned trade customer portfolio through

        (i) the delivery of professional out-bound trade related services;

        (ii) intensive customer visits/calling activities for trade services/product crossing;

       (iii) development of new trade customers by following up on internally generated and/or inbound leads and proactively working with relationship manager of both commercial banking and CIB.

Main Responsibilities:

       1.Provision of Services and Developing Trade Business to Customers within Assigned Portfolio
             1)Visits customers regularly for provision of outbound trade related services including trade account opening, trade documentation advisory services, and etc.
             2)Coordinates Trade Operations regarding trade documentation and related issues to ensure a seamless and professional banking experience for trade customers within the assigned portfolio.
             3)visits customers regularly to lobby for more trade business, supported by concise call reports.
             4)proactively cross-sell trade products and services according to branch product marketing plans and customer needs, supported by concise call reports

       2.New Trade Customer Acquisition
             1)acquires new trade customers in accordance with pre-determined targets set by management.
             2)follows up assigned inbound trade business referrals from Trade Operations and group offices into real trade business in a timely manner.
             3)follows up assigned potential trade customers leads obtained from customer groups and various marketing activities in a timely manner.
             4)works seamlessly with Corporate Relationship Manager in both commercial banking and CIB to identify and convert non-trade customers into trade customers, including referrals of trade facility requests.
             5)proactively identifies and refers potential non-trade business opportunities to the relevant relationship officers in a timely manner.
             6)compiles call reports and activity management statistics as required by management in a timely manner.
             7)Support country wide and in-branch Trade Marketing Activities.
             8)assists in organizing regular customer events/Seminars/Workshops as required.

      3.Protect the Bank’s Interest
             1)follows up on irregular bills and disputes with customers to ensure satisfactory and timely settlement.
             2)proactively alert of any negative development in customer businesses to the Bank and the relevant relationship managers

Candidate Profile:

      Academic Background

      ·University graduate, preferably with a major in finance / foreign tradeWorking Experience /Technical Skills & Know how

      ·A minimum of 3 years banking experience in the trade finance related area

      ·Knowledge of Trade services operation, trade product and services, basic knowledge in credit and account servicesSkills & Competencies·good selling skills

      ·excellent communication skill and leadershipLanguage Skills

      ·Fluency in Mandarin and English(both written and spoken

      ·Local dialects are an advantageComputer Skill

      ·Familiar with Microsoft Office softwaresOthers if any (require to travel, etc)

      ·Travel will be required
