Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
Ø Undertake first level credit analysis, credit due-diligence and completion of credit files.
Ø Expedite and monitor the credit file approval process.
Ø Evaluate credit facility requests from RMs according to bank’s risk appetite and strategy based RAROC analysis or other appropriate methodology and management initiatives.
Ø Verify data concerning approved facilities, credit commitment and outstanding.
Ø Report significant business events, financial trends, industry developments and other relevant issues relating to financial position of clients.
Ø Review and assess client’s credit risk rating at least annually, or as driven by special events, using Starweb, Loan Studio or other analytical tools.
Ø Address inquiries from clients or internal parties timely and responsively.
Ø Maintain clear and updated documentation in all credit files including financial statements, latest financial spreading, credit applications, validation records, internal and correspondence, etc.
Ø Assist CRMs on completing KYC procedures as well as account opening documents -Assist in special credit related assignments and projects as required.
Ø Back up and support other corporate credit analysts as required by Team Head.
Requirement
Ø Academic Background (degree and major): Bachelor degree in finance or accounting disciplines.
Ø More than 4 year experience in a role of financial risk analysis or Relationship Manager in commercial/corporate banking, min 2 years experience in credit analysis function or relevant function.
Ø Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
Ø Basic knowledge on commercial banking products is a plus, such as Loan Product, Trade Finance, Cash Product and etc.
Ø Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Ø Language Skills: English/Mandarin, Fluent in both speaking and writing.
Ø Computer Skill: Well versed in MS Office applications.
